DMX512 is a control standard that lets one controller address many lights individually. It allows dimming, colour changes, scenes and animation across a whole installation.
RGB mixes red, green and blue. RGBW adds a dedicated white chip, which gives cleaner whites. Tunable white shifts between warm and cool white without producing colour.

LED profiles are aluminium channels that hold LED strips. They give clean lines, help with heat and diffuse the light. They come recessed, surface-mounted and suspended, and can be made to custom sizes.
The IP rating shows how well a fixture resists dust and water. For outdoor lighting, look for IP65 or higher. Fixtures placed under water need a submersible rating.
A stretch ceiling is a membrane fixed tight across a frame below the structural ceiling. It can be lit from behind for an even glow or printed with an image.
