What image resolution do you need for a printed stretch ceiling?
The minimum recommended source image resolution is 50 megapixels for a large ceiling area, or approximately 6000 x 8000 pixels. For smaller ceiling areas (under 4 sqm), 20MP is often sufficient. We have relationships with commercial image libraries and can assist with sourcing appropriate high-resolution images if you don't have your own.
Can the print include our company logo or custom artwork?
Yes. We print any artwork that you provide in the correct resolution — logos, photography, illustrations, patterns and bespoke artwork. For custom illustrations or pattern creation, we work with professional graphic designers to develop artwork specifically for the project.
How long do the UV-stable inks last before fading?
Our printing partners use UV-stable inks rated for 10+ years of indoor use without visible colour shift. The PVC membrane itself has a lifetime of 15–20 years under normal indoor conditions. Outdoor applications or areas with direct strong sunlight may require UV-blocking diffuser films to achieve the same longevity.
Can a printed ceiling be changed after installation?
Yes. The membrane can be released from its harpoon tracks, removed and a new printed membrane installed in its place — typically within a day for an average room. This makes printed ceilings ideal for seasonal brand campaigns or properties that want to refresh their look periodically without structural work.
